Kid Safety Hats
was organized by Daniel and Heather Shapiro to help
parents, caregivers, and medical providers find
protective headgear for children. Parents of a
child with special needs, we searched for a safety
hat that was appropriate for him. We thought it
would be helpful to offer one place with a variety
of safety headgear options. We hope to make it
easier for you to find the proper protection based
on the individual needs of each child. We are happy
to provide larger sizes for adults as well.

Based on a true story, Mommy,

epilepsy. The story takes you through the
days following Nel’s first seizure.
